At Painted Soul Arts, we are dedicated to producing high quality artwork and the best possible experience for our customers. We see tattooing as an art form, a sharing of experiences, and a way to express who we are. We believe that every person and every idea deserves to be treated with respect and skill.
We are located in a bright and spacious storefront on Walnut St. in Montclair, NJ.
The front portion of our space serves as a seating area and exhibition space for artwork. We have a total of five stations, each supplied with ample room and the highest quality equipment. Behind the stately barn doors are two private artist stations for client privacy and comfort. We use only the highest quality products, all of which are vegan and cruelty-free.

Cinar is a pioneering contemporary tattoo artist with over 25 years of professional experience. Known for his refined artistry and distinctive style, he has built an international reputation for creating timeless, expressive tattoos that merge fine art with modern craftsmanship.
From building his own tattoo machines early in his career to tattooing renowned clients and public figures around the world, Cinar’s dedication to his craft is evident in every piece he creates.
He is the founder and lead artist of Painted Soul Arts, an upscale tattoo studio and art space in Montclair, New Jersey—one of the state’s most vibrant and artistic communities. At Painted Soul Arts, Cinar and his team of talented artists offer clients an elevated experience in a creative, luxurious setting.
A graduate of the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and Architecture, Cinar infuses his foundation in traditional arts with a visionary modern aesthetic—transforming classical influence into contemporary, one-of-a-kind tattoo compositions. His work reflects a balance of precision, emotion, and individuality, embodying the essence of tattooing as a true form of fine art.
After traveling and working around the U.S., Cinar chose to continue his art in Montclair, which he values for its diversity, vibrant culture, and artistic heart. Cinar is specialized and known for the “Avant-garde” style of tattooing, which is unexpectedly mixing styles and using the body as a living canvas. Following the muscle and bone structure of the body to create a flowing work of art is his passion when he is making tattoos. He believes tattoos are not just a piece of art or some nice accessory, they are a connection between the person’s body and the soul, and he strives to make each tattoo an outer expression of this.
